    Car Stolen in Philadelphia, PA

Well, friends, my car was stolen last night. If anyone in the South Philadelphia area sees a 2005 Toyota Sienna with Jersey Plates in ANY condition, please let me know. There’s money and thanks in it for you.

    • That sucks. I hope it is found in decent shape.

      Hi there John…
We met at the Bella Vista event…

I am sure you already thought about this, but is there a possibility it was towed?
The cops patrolling the area told me they would be towing any cars that weren’t were they should be…
      Just a thought

      Hi, Suzanne,

yep — when I called 911, that was the first suggestion to them. I was parked legally though, and the cops on the scene agreed.

It was a great event, and a pleasure to meet you and talk. I just wish it hadn’t ended like this. ;)

      John,

my Truck an F-350 was stolen from the Turf Club parking lot (a paid parking lot)! They have tons of people out front collecting money and making it look secure but they only employee people to watch the lot until 8 PM. The game was over at 11. When I got out to the lot, my truck was gone. It sucks so bad. I paid off that truck about a year ago and it was used on my farm. I got laid off from my day job (need two jobs to have a farm) in March and I cannot get a new truck because I’m unemployeed.

What was the outcome of your situation? What can I expect? I don’t feel anyone, police, insurance company or lot owner care too much. I’m the only one suffering a loss.

It was found, in good shape, nearby. I’m proof that you can hope for the best outcome from a bad situation. Good luck, Tom.

      John,

I’m glad you got your car back. It has been more than 30 days for me and nothing. The philly police have done nothing.

I’m a suburban guy so they probably don’t feel like they should do to much. The new Philly ad campaign says, “come to philly and enjoy our town”… get your car stolen.

Hopefully, I will get my truck back. If I don’t, I am going to watch what the police do very carefully because right now I don’t have much confidence that they are doing anything.

      Tom
